Early Life

Kulman Ghising was born in Nepal in 1970. He studied hard to become an electrical engineer. This early training gave him the skills to understand how power systems work.

Career

Mr. Ghising became famous for stopping the long power cuts that Nepal used to have. He served two times as the head of the Nepal Electricity Authority, known as NEA. Under his leadership, Nepal finally had steady electricity, which greatly improved people's lives.

Political Role

Later, Kulman Ghising took on a bigger role in government. In 2025, he was appointed a minister in the interim government. He looked after important areas like energy, water, and city planning. He is a member of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, continuing his service to the nation.
